SPECIALISING IN DEMENTIA & RESIDENTIAL CARE IN NOTTINGHAM

Wilford View Care Home is divided into 3 floors. The ground floor offers care for people who require residential long or short term care. caters for the needs of people with dementia. The 1st floor provides caters for the needs of people with dementia. rehabilitation or assessment care for people who are transferred through City Care Hub from local hospitals. The 2nd floor offers rehabilitation or assessment care for people who are transferred through City Care Hub from local hospitals.

Our home is situated in Silverdale in Nottingham in close proximity to local amenities, bus stop and tram line which are wheelchair friendly and provide easy access to and from the City Centre.

All rooms on the 2nd floor have their own TV provided by Wilford View as well as one in the main lounge area. We found that it can be a comfort to those that come to us from the hospital that may need to rest while recovering. 

First floor has a large kitchenette which can be used to complete assessments before being discharged.

All of the residents have access to the entirety of the home if they wish to explore or try the different amenities that other floors have to offer.

Wilford View offers its own luxury on site hairdressers that gives the feel of a salon with the safety of a care home. We also have an on site cinema for the residents to enjoy.

Rooms: Each resident has their own private room with an en-suite.  All rooms are spacious and light. We encourage our residents to bring in personal effects to make it personal and homely for them. Each room is equipped with a bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, comfy chair and a movable table that can be adjusted if they wish to use it in bed.

Safety is a priority for Wilford View. All rooms have a call bell system which allows residents to call for staff for assistance, or in the event of an emergency there is an emergency call button which sounds an alarm which will alert the whole building.

The en-suites are all wet rooms to allow those with different levels of mobility to access the shower and toilet. Each floor additionally has a bath which is adapted to tilt if a resident is unable to sit up without support. The bath is there for any residents that wish to use it.
