Meet Our Home Manager – Tammason Carlyle

We are proud to introduce Tammason Carlyle as the Home Manager at Wilford View Care Home.

Tammason brings a wealth of experience and a deeply rooted passion for person-centred care. She holds a degree in Psychology and has developed her career within the same group of care homes, progressing through a range of frontline and leadership roles that have shaped her comprehensive understanding of high-quality care delivery.

Her journey includes working as a Health Care Assistant, Senior Health Care Assistant, Safeguarding Lead, Care Co-ordinator, and Deputy Home Manager. Each of these roles has strengthened her commitment to safeguarding, compassionate leadership, and the continuous development of care standards.

Tammason joined Wilford View in June 2024 as Deputy Home Manager and, after a year of dedicated service, was offered the opportunity to step into the role of Home Manager from June 2025. Her appointment comes following the home’s Outstanding rating by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in January 2025, a milestone achieved under the leadership of her predecessor, Helen, with whom she worked closely. Tammason is committed to upholding and building upon this legacy of excellence.

With her strong values-based leadership, Tammason prioritises open communication, meaningful engagement with residents and families, and the continuous development of her team. Her psychological background supports her person-first approach, ensuring emotional wellbeing and dignity are always at the forefront of the care provided.

She is known among staff, residents, and families for her approachability, calm presence, and genuine passion for creating a safe, supportive, and thriving home environment.

Tammason is looking forward to leading Wilford View into its next chapter with a continued focus on outstanding care, innovation, and community.

Supporting Excellence in Care

At Wilford View, our management team plays a crucial role in ensuring outstanding care and support for our residents and their families. Each of our care suites is overseen by a Care Coordinator, dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of person-centered care. We are also supported by our Quality Assurance team, who focus on good governance, compliance, and ensuring a seamless transition for new residents and their loved ones.

Be sure to look out for Ruth, Katie, Rhiannon, Elizabeth, and Emem. Their dedication and expertise ensure that Wilford View continues to be a place of warmth, safety, and excellence in care.
