SPECIALISING IN DEMENTIA & RESIDENTIAL CARE IN NOTTINGHAM

Wilford View has a rolling staff force to provide 24/7 care. We use a staffing ratio to ensure all residents are cared for at all times, whether it be day or night.

When joining the team all staff are required to complete a thorough induction and all mandatory training, which is completed in-house before working with residents. After this is completed, staff are given the option to do additional training to enhance their knowledge. Staff are then continuously supported with supervisions and staff meetings to keep an open conversation and allow them to ask questions or offer opinions of how we can improve.

All staff are offered the opportunity to work towards an NVQ in health and social care starting at Level 2 up until Level 5 as well as completing their care certificate. Progression is encouraged at Wilford View and we support staff to do this and reach their potential.
